  • Set up your customers, codes, and IDs, using the Setup and Maintenance functions.
  • Verify your customers, codes, and IDs, using the Master Lists and Interactive View functions.
  • Enter all applicable transactions.
  • Verify and post your transactions.

Use the Open Invoices functions for the following tasks:

  • Use the Aged Trial Balance Report to view the invoice balances broken down into five aging periods. The detail report shows full detail for all invoices; the summary report shows only the aging period totals.
  • Use the Hold/Release Invoices function to put disputed invoices on hold, release held invoices, split a payment or credit into several parts, or reapply a payment or credit to an outstanding invoice.
  • Use the Cash Flow Report to see the amount of cash you can expect to receive within any four periods you specify.
  • Use the Calculate Finance Charges function to calculate finance charges on overdue invoices, to produce a report of finance charges, and to update customer records with the new finance charges.
  • Use the Print Statements function to produce statements that show the month's transactions, summarizing your customers' accounts.

Note: If you have a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) situation, follow the NSF instructions.
